omfg anyone in the fort saint john to prince george area you gotta head to big bam/worsley/powder king they have some awsome runs. big bam has a better terrain park than Grand praire

not sure about next weekend, but have plans to go up one or two days from the 29-31st weekend as some friends from Banff are coming down to visit. I can't believe the base is 290+cm right now... can't wait to go back.

yup I was wearing my gear today, didn't really do that much hiking but like to practice just riding with it all on too. Amazing day today. Had bottomless face shots on almost every run on Blackcomb. Grabbed the 6th chair of the day on 7th heaven and there were no lineups there at all during my 3-4 laps, every run I ended up all alone on a fresh slope or tree run. Even at 2pm was getting sick pow lines anywhere in the trees it seemed. Amazing day, still on a natural high from it. It was all about the north aspect slopes today, lots of wind loading, sure only 15cm fell but with the amount available to transport from this past week, it made for 40-50cm deep on lee slopes.

Avi gear will be a good thing if you plan on hiking out a bit. Saw a bunch of small slabs break free. Small in area but but like 45 cms thick in spots. Everything in bounds looked ok. An older guy was telling me that earlier in the week there was as waist deep slide inbounds that swallowed up a few employees! Everyone was ok though. Whis should be good for the next couple weeks by what the forcast says. 15 cm a day kinda good. ENjoy!

yeah thats what I was afraid of today since it was bluebird - the lines. 7th has been my fav chair so far, my first season at whistler thats by far my fav chair so far. cheers dude happy shreddin. I am going to be wearin my avie gear tomorrow since its supposed to be snowing a lot.

It'll be dope up there tomorrow Paul! I just got back and minus the lift lines it was epic!!! May I suggest 7th Heaven and some of the upper bowl sections!!! Cant stop smiling it was so rad hahaha Have fun up there tomorrow

Who wants a ride up to whistler tomorrow??? going up and my partner bailed, its supposed to dump so I'm going up anyway. pm me for my cell #, fyi I live in van core near main st / 33rd area, would pick up if your not too far and can pitch on gas. cheers

It wasn't too bad! Sky chair was pretty rad. ONly bout 10cm on top of bulletproof but I had some nice lines goin on. There's a wicked little tree bonk at the 2nd tower from the top I think. Good for doin 180 bonks and stuff. There's a nice little roller drop just before that, good for backside or cab spins(if you're a reg). Happy New Years to all!
